Notes :  The encode is pretty much pixel-perfect,

but there’s a lot of variance in the source DVDs’ picture quality,

even in-between seasons, ranging from rather bad to very good.

Occasionally there’s a lot of grain,

sometimes some blur and sometimes a lot of noise (yes kids, noise is not grain).

This is probably because of the way the series was shot,

which resembles a combination of live documentary cameras and CCTV,

and is obviously intentional. However, the 5.1 soundtrack is great.

An extended cut of the series finale episode is also included;

it contains 7 minutes of additional scenes cut directly from the workprint, 

and it’s very interesting. But if you know what workprint looks like,

you’ll know what to expect from the quality of those scenes:

A running counter in the upper left corner of the screen and tons of blur.
